Dear ===, my name is Alex Abutu, a science journalist with Research Africa in Cape Town, South Africa.
I am writing a report on the contributions of African scientists to on-going efforts to cushion the impact of climate change on Africans.
The report is part of a project I have to submit to Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) as the current holder of her nine months fellowship for an African science journalist.
The report essentially will gauge the views of African scientists on climate change and look at what they are doing and how that is being communicated to policy makers and the general public.
