Climate Change and its Effect on Wildlife

The effects of Climate Change will probably be disasterous for millions, and most of us in the CCMP know that. Moreover, many species of animal do not have the ability to speak up for themselves on this or any of the inter related issues. Certain interested journalists must do it for them.

With the burgeoning human population, and its need to push back the barriers of wilderness areas that are many animals habitat and refuge, humans are taking up every possible space to housing, manufacture, pleasure or agriculture. There will be no let up with this process, unless something brought into focus. Therefore our wildlife will suffer, and in the long term, so will humans.

We do need to bring this perspective to the public attention, so your views are welcome.

You are right, people, polar bears, pikas, penguins will and are suffering. Check out the Center for Biological Diversity's "350 Reasons we need to get to 350ppm: 350 Species Threatened by Global Warming" http://350.biologicaldiversity.org.
