Important role for India, China and Brazil at COP15?

COP 15 will be an important milestone in international climate change agreement. What role developing countries can play in COP 15. Unless developing countries like India, Brazil and China wont take compulsory GHGs commitments it will be difficult to come to a deal at COP 15. NOW THE QUESTION IS IS IT THE RIGHT TIME THAT DEVELOPING COUNTRIES START TAKING COMPULSORY REDUCTION COMMITMENTS ?

Adaptation to climate change is an important way to deal with adverse impacts of climate change. But are the present adaptation options at the national level among developing countries are economic growth friendly. All the developing countries of Africa, Latin America, Asia. But the question is Are the adaptation at the national level sustainable?
