I am a broadcast journalist & feature writer of Bangladesh. I have been working for seven years with most popular Bengali TV channel, Channel-I as a Senior Staff Correspondent.
I have to cover the energy, environment & agriculture related issue. My all these three issues are directly related to climate change. I am interested about climate change reporting. As my beet it is my official duty reporting on climate change. But being a television journalist i have to cover some other assignment too like parliament, government and administration, poverty.
I have done various reports about climate change( http://vimeo.com/sanjoychaki/videos) . I wanted to show how is creating many problems climate change to our agriculture , water , river wetland,weather , coastal area and livelihood .
As a concern journalist my TV station sent me Doha of Qatar to cover United Nation climate change conference –Cop18 in November -2012( http://www.flickr.com/photos/39859890@N04/). In April of last year I went to Sri Lanka for climate change reporting & training about new media as a fellow of International Center for Journalist -ICFJ.
I want to more about me that before few years i also covered the BOAO forum for Asia conference, renewable energy growth and heritage issue at China. I also a lucky journalist who observed & covered United Nation peace keeping mission activities in world poorest country D R Congo & other African country Uganda. I went to Malaysia and Thailand for reporting about overseas employment, agriculture growth & tourism issue.

But I started journalism from grass roots level as a local correspondent of a local daily, the Daily Dainik Kushtia. I worked as a staff reporter of daily Bhorer Kagoj and as a district correspondent of daily Bhorer Kagoj , Daily Ittefaq, Daily Jugantor & Ntv. I was acting editor of local Daily Dainik Kushtia where started my reporting as a local correspondent.
I was a fellow of International Center for Journalist -ICFJ . I am a graduate of Rajshahi University. I am a award wining reporter for reporting about climate change & agriculture.

I wrote book as a concern journalist ‘One eleven and the days of abnormal government’ concerning the political instability & violence of Bangladesh in 2006 to 2008 .

The breakdown of the sea coast reached worrying levels in Bangladesh. Most of the area of sea coast & coastal river bank are under risk. Tourism city Kuakata are also under risk due to this problem . Many people lost their homes due to this breakdown. They are becoming climate refugee. Mr. Hassan Mahmud , Environment minister of Bangladesh said , this type of breakdown reached worrying levels . Salinity risk increased & dangerous treat for 150 million Bangladeshi

Near future Dhaka’s underground water may be polluted by saline water and it will be a dangerous treat for 150 million Bangladeshi who live in capital city. Even agricultural production, biodiversity, ecosystem will be change due to this climate change problems in other parts of Bangladesh. After a research experts point ed out this.
