I am Silas Ochieng, a Kenyan citizen by birth.
I hold a masters Degree in Research methods from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.My research thesis was on Status of Food Security and Adaptive Capacity of Smallholder Farmers in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia) to Climate Change. Currently, I work at Aga Khan University as a research Associate and the current research I am coordinating is on use of weather and climate information by the rural farming and fishing communities in western kenya for enhanced adaptation potential to climate change.
