I am an environmentalist having thirteen (13) years working experience, with a blend of skills and experience in Environment, Natural Resources Management and Climate Change. I have hands on experience in addressing environment; climate change and social development issues at policy and operational levels. Over the time, I have acquired skills and experience in stakeholder engagement at, programme/project level, community, regional, national and international levels. I have a Master’s Degree in Environment and Natural Resources(specializing in Forest Ecosystem Management) from Makerere University Kampala Uganda; a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the same University; as well as a Diploma in International Environmental Law from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Over the years I have undertaken a number of professional courses in a range of development disciplines (Climate Change, Environment, Gender, HIV/AIDS, and Projects Management). I worked in Sudan for four years with the United Nations African Union Hybrid Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) as a Civil Affairs Officer in charge of Environment and Natural Resources Management with a special focus on Projects Management. Previously worked in Uganda with the Ministry of Works and Transport as a Senior Environment Officer during which I mainstreamed environment and Social issues in the road sector Development Programme under DANIDA funding. I also worked with Kamuli District Local Government as the District Environment Officer where I coordinated mainstreaming environment and Natural Resources Management into the district development plan. I am currently providing technical support to the Parliamentary on Climate Change Uganda.
