am an editor of the Farmers Media newspaper.The Farmers Media organization is a science communication organization, with great need to promote development through communication of science to the rural farmers for the betterment of livelihoods, the organization plans to achieve this through publishing educational and informative materials, outreach and interaction with rural communities.
Farmers Media is the lead publisher of Uganda’s first Free Farmer’s Newspaper (The Farmers Media Newspaper, originally running Fortnightly, Currently, due to the constraints in funding , the newspaper runs as a monthly publication with a print run of 10,000 copies, it is a specialized forum for farmers, policy makers and the general agricultural sector, with particular focus on crosscutting issues such as Agriculture, climate change,Health, Education, Environment, and Information technology, as well as other sectors that aim towards the development of rural livelihoods in general
