I underwent a week-long training course conducted by Thompson Foundation (Mary Price was the tutor) and another one over the same duration that was run by IIED (tutor was Mike Shanahan). As an Association of Environmental Journalists, we continue to hold training programmes at national level involving local partners for the benefit of fellow journalists so that they, too, may have an appreciation of Climate Change matters

I possess a diploma in Communications and Journalism obtained from the Christian College of Southern Africa in 1992. I also hold qualifications in Public Relations, Broadcasting and Newspaper Product Development. I have worked as a journalist for the past 19 years, and currently, am the Secretary-General of the Zimbabwe Environmental Journalists Association (www.zejaworld.org)

ZEJA officially launches amid pomp and fanfare

The Zimbabwe Environmental Journalists Association was officially launched on Thursday, September 29, at a colourful ceremony held at the Forest Hills Resort in Vumba, 32km East of the Eastern Highlands capital, Mutare.
