I am coordinating a regional office for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Internation al Network fo bamboo and rattan. INBAR implements community based project on adaptation to climate change by reducing vulnerability though the constrruction of elevated bamboo houses. For these houses native bamboo forests are managed by local communities
