Sahelian country, Niger spuerficie covers more than one million two hundred sixty thousand square kilometers, with three quarters of which is desert. Repeatedly, the country is experiencing droughts and food crises linked to poor rains.

Journalist in a Sahelian country plagued by drought and recurrent food crises, I am interested in biotechnology issues and climate change. Awareness of Niger's population, 90% agriculture, is an important part of my job, in my radio station, called Radio Garkuwa. The issues of sustainable land management and farming techniques adapted are the points on which we carry a lot of attention. In the same context, I collaborate with the French program of Deutsche Welle Radio, by subjects for the magazine "Environment" of that radio.
