I have been a print journalist but with a Masters degree in Geography for the past 30 years. Starting from sports journalist, I diversified the topics I wrote on, like advertising, aviation, social issues, gender disparities, violence against women and environment in leading newspapers and magazines, blog and a video blog where I had my own show.
Joined a leading mainstream television channel as its senior editor and content manager.
Headed IUCN Pakistan's Education, Communications and Outreach Unit, and temporarily also headed its Business and BioDiversity Unit.
Currently, I am associated with www.speakforchange.org as its senior editor, and am an anchor and producer on its web tv channel, www.247online.tv. Environment is one agenda thatr I push aggressively through both these platforms as our facebook has about 250000 followers, mainly urban Pakistani youth, towards whom these platforms are targeted.
Am also an Associate of LEAD Pakistan, working for my Fellowship as part of its Cohort-16, on the subject of 'Mainstreaming Green Economies.'
