Abhishek Shrestha is youth climate advocate from Nepal and co-founder of Nepaleseyouth for climate Action and Core team Member for Nepali Youth Debaters Club.

He has attended the climate negotiation at Bangkok and Barcelona intersession and COP 15 Copenhagen. He attended the climate advocacy training and followed the Debate track in 2009; Turkeyorganized by IDEA and 350 and Bright Green Youth Conference and Traced Danish Climate Responsibilty 2009 in Denmark.

He was the National co-ordinator for Nepal for Debatewise Climate Debate and country co-ordinator, Nepal for World Online Debating Championship (WODC) 2010 and he also facilitated and judged debate tournaments in Nepal.

Mr. Shrestha was part of the 350.org team and lead 350 Global Day of Climate Action on 24th of October event in Nepal.

He has been awarded as British Council International Climate Champion 2010/11.

He holds the Bachelor degree in Environment Science (Hons.) from KathmanduUniversity, 2008. He is inspired greatly by youth and believes that we are the generationwho can find innovative solution to avert the global crisis.
