With co-author Timmons Roberts, we are working on a book project with MIT Press on Latin America's leadership at the international climate change negotiations. We are carrying out a series of interviews with Latin American climate negotiators and journalists. We will also be at the COP17 so please get in touch if you would like to participate.

 

We also work with the Latin American Platform on Climate on a communications project with a blog at its centre: Intercambio Climático.

We are looking for new authors to contribute so get in touch!

!Hola! Soy la Oficial de Comunicación para Latinoamérica del Centro para la Investigación Forestal Internacional (CIFOR). Participaré en la COP16, en Cancún, y creo que sería una gran oportunidad para que quienes trabajamos en la región nos conozcamos y encontremos oportunidades para trabajar juntos.

Particularmente, me gustaría ponerme en contacto con periodistas ambientales trabajando en la región, y platicar sobre cómo CIFOR puede brindarles información actualizada sobre bosques, cambio climático y REDD . Hello! I am the communication officer for Latin America at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). I will be attending COP16, which I think is a great opportunity to meet other people working in the region and find opportunities to work together.

I am particularly interested in contacting environmental journalists working in the region to discuss how CIFOR can give you updated information and expert guidance about forest, climate change and REDD.
